Privacy.
StreamPilot is published by Signal House, a 3Thirty3 Ltd. company. This policy explains how the StreamPilot website, account service and Android TV application handle information during the beta.
StreamPilot account information
When you create a StreamPilot account, we process information such as your email address, optional display name, password-derived authentication data, beta entitlement status and authorized-device records. Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes rather than plain-text passwords.
Information stored on your device
The Android application can store playlist names and addresses, provider credentials contained in user-supplied source details, selected groups, favourites, viewing progress, application settings, metadata-service configuration and access grants for user-selected game folders. This media-source configuration is designed to remain on the device rather than becoming a StreamPilot-provided media service.
Device activation
To control beta access, StreamPilot creates a device identifier derived from device information and stores device name, authorization status and last-seen time with the account service. This allows you and StreamPilot administrators to revoke individual devices or account access.
Network connections
StreamPilot connects directly to services selected or configured by the user. These can include a user's media provider, metadata providers and trailer providers. Those services receive the technical information necessary to complete the request and operate under their own privacy practices.
Diagnostics
StreamPilot creates diagnostic logs locally to help identify crashes and playback problems. Bug reports are not intended to be sent automatically; a report leaves the device when the user starts the reporting flow and chooses to share it.
Advertising and sale of data
StreamPilot does not include advertising as part of the current beta. Signal House does not sell StreamPilot account information or user media-source information to advertisers.
Retention and deletion
Account and device records may be retained while an account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, support and operational purposes. Locally stored application information remains until the user removes it, clears application data or uninstalls StreamPilot.
Children
StreamPilot is a general-audience media player and is not directed specifically to children.
